We are pleased to announce that Winston AI’s AI Content Detection API has been integrated into Eden AI API.
Winston AI is a platform for detecting text generated by AI. Their software can accurately identify information produced by ChatGPT, GPT-4, Bard, and other well-known text creation tools with a 99.6% detection rate. A top-notch plagiarism detection function is also part of their software.
They support German, English, French, and Spanish languages for AI detection and many more to come. It is a very secure platform that guarantees the highest level of data protection by using cutting-edge encryption algorithms to protect all user information.
Eden AI offers Winston AI AI Content Detection solutions on its platform amongst several other NLP Technologies. We want our users to have access to multiple AI engines and manage them in one place so they can reach high performance, optimize cost and cover all their needs.
There are many reasons for using multiple AI APIs :
You need to set up an AI API that is requested if and only if the main AI API does not perform well (or is down). You can use the confidence score returned or other methods to check provider accuracy.
After the testing phase, you will be able to build a mapping of AI vendors' performance that depends on the criteria that you chose. Each data that you need to process will be then sent to the best API.
This method allows you to choose the cheapest provider that performs well for your data. Let's imagine that you choose Google Cloud API for customer "A" because they all perform well and this is the cheapest. You will then choose Microsoft Azure for customer "B", a more expensive API but Google performances are not satisfying for customer "B". (this is a random example)
This approach is required if you look for extremely high accuracy. The combination leads to higher costs but allows your AI service to be safe and accurate because AI APIs will validate and invalidate each other for each piece of data.
We had the chance to talk to John Renaud, Winston AI's Co-Founder, who agreed to answer some of our questions:
My name is John Renaud, co-founder of Winston AI. The company was founded in November 2022, just before the launch of CHATGPT. We were playing with the latest GPT-3 model in Open AI’s playground and found that this model(Da Vinci) was extremely good at writing text and understanding prompts.
We knew this was going to become a big problem for Schools and Publishers. We therefore started building Winston AI to help anyone detect AI generated content.
Winston AI is an AI content detector. We help our users detect any content generated with popular Large Language Models such as ChatGPT, Claude, Bard, and much more. Every AI writing detector scans content and provides a probabilistic assessment on the content it scanned with a certain percentage.
Winston AI is known to be by far the most accurate solution when it comes to discerning human made content from AI generated writing. Our solution is reliable, fast and our API is built to help companies connect to our solution seamlessly.
Our customers are academic institutions, learning management softwares, publishers and writers, and anyone trying to identify AI generated content.
Synthetic content is taking over the entire internet, and our tool is the preferred solution to help maintain integrity in publishing and academia.
Eden AI is a wonderful tool to help people seamlessly integrate with many great tools, and we wanted to be part of the adventure. By simplifying the lives of developers, we believe that Eden AI’s vision aligns with ours.
Our roadmap includes many product updates, starting with integrating many more languages. We are also scaling our plagiarism detection capabilities.
We believe AI detection will become an essential part of many softwares in the near future as synthetic content is taking over the Internet.
You'll need some documentation to use Winston AI's AI Content Detection technology on Eden AI. Then, call the API:
