What is Shopistry?
Shopistry is the first AI-generated online store solution, streamlining the setup process from start to finish.
It empowers business owners to launch and start selling online quickly, without the usual technical hassle.
The Challenge
As an eCommerce SaaS platform, Shopistry aimed to simplify the store creation process for new users. During onboarding, the goal was to automatically generate a fully functional online store, with product descriptions, images, and website content, so users could hit the ground running without needing to build everything from scratch.

However, ensuring consistently high-quality AI-generated content was a challenge. The quality of text and images varied significantly across different AI providers, making it difficult to rely on a single solution. Shopistry needed a way to dynamically select the best output without compromising user experience.
The Solution
To tackle this challenge, Shopistry integrated Eden AI into its onboarding flow. By using Eden’s unified API, the team could easily access and compare outputs from multiple AI providers—text generation, image generation, and more, without building custom integrations for each.
This allowed them to dynamically switch between providers based on content quality, ensuring that new stores launched with the most compelling and accurate visuals and descriptions. Eden acted as a quality gatekeeper, enabling Shopistry to deliver better results while minimizing manual intervention.
The Results
With Eden AI, Shopistry streamlined its onboarding experience and delivered consistently better store setups to new users. Instead of generic or subpar content, users were greeted with high-quality AI-generated storefronts that helped them get started faster.
Although Shopistry has since been acquired, Eden AI played a key role in enhancing their onboarding process, reducing friction for new users, and improving overall satisfaction by ensuring quality content was always prioritized, regardless of the source.

We found that the quality of generated images, text, product images different between the providers and Eden enabled us to play these providers against each other through Eden, switching the source based on quality.
