Overview
Symfony AI is Symfony's official AI toolkit for PHP, covering agents, platforms and stores.
Eden AI ships as an official Symfony AI bridge (the `symfony/ai-eden-ai-platform` package, released in Symfony AI v0.14.0), so your PHP apps reach Claude, GPT, Qwen, Mistral and 500+ models behind one EU/GDPR key, a first-class platform, no OpenAI-compat workaround.
How it works
A maintained, first-class bridge, install and go:
- `composer require symfony/ai-eden-ai-platform`, set `EDENAI_API_KEY`.
- Declare the platform under `ai.platform.edenai` in `config/packages/ai.yaml`.
- Pick any model with `provider/model` naming (e.g. `anthropic/claude-sonnet-5`, `openai/gpt-4o-mini`).
- Go past chat: OCR, document parsing, speech and image models use `feature/subfeature/provider` naming on the same key.
