We are pleased to announce that Base64.ai has been integrated into Eden AI platform and API.

Base64.ai is an artificial intelligence service that extracts data, text, handwriting, photographs and signatures from a wide range of documents. Base64.ai recognizes the document type in seconds, extracts the required data, checks the findings, and integrates them into the customer's systems. By automating document processing, their goal is to allow their customers to minimize expenses and focus on other tasks.

Established in 2020, Base64.ai’s Optical Character Recognition (OCR) service instantly and accurately extracts data from over 700 types of documents in seconds. This API provides a self-learning, low-code AI data extraction platform that can read and understand almost any document without prior learning.

This performant platform can be directly used on Eden AI. It provides very good performance and recognizes invoices from many languages.

Can you introduce Base64?

Base64.ai was founded on January 14th, 2020. Base64.ai has the most advanced API-based OCR document data extraction automation tool. Works for any document. Go live in less than an hour. Our solution can work with over 700+ document types and over 60+ languages out-of-the-box. This is because we've designed a true AI-powered no-template model that can read unstructured data and understand key value pairs. Most traditional OCR tools have to work with strict templates, hence why they're very limited in their capability to handle all of a companies document processing needs and make real sense of the data. Base64.ai was designed to have an incredibly simple user interface and includes 5 easy integration options, with some like Eden AI taking less than 5 minutes to set up (please verify this statement on your end). More recently, Base64.ai raised a significant seed funding round and has expanded its partnership base globally in places like the Middle East, Europe, and South America.

Who are your customers?

We don't advertise our customers, but we do make some of our partners publically available here. As far as customers, we serve a range of them spanning from insurance to the medical industry and beyond. Some of these customer case studies have been highlighted on our website here. While Base64.ai can handle any company's document processing needs, we've found that many of them are coming to us for understanding more complex documents, such as the 93 field ACORD 25 form. What these customers have found is that we're really the only reliable solution that's capable of handling these types of documents. From there, our machine learning platform can easily tackle receipts, invoices, and other more common documents. Base64.ai is a future-proofed solution for all their document understanding needs, which makes implementing our API with Eden AI a great long-term investment for their business that they won't need to overhaul in the future as their document understanding needs naturally evolve.
