Spotprent Shop
Spotprent Shop uses Eden AI to optimize the handling of their extensive print collection
What is Spotprent Shop?
Spotprent Shop is a website created by the NGO Pixel Perfect, which showcases a unique collection of historical prints spanning the past 120 years.
The website is part of a project that empowers individuals with autism by teaching them digital skills and supporting them in creating and maintaining the site.
The Challenge
Pixel Perfect, an NGO founded by Jos Geenen, is dedicated to empowering individuals with autism by teaching them website development and digital skills. As part of their work, they created Spotprent Shop, a website showcasing a vast collection of historical prints from the past 120 years.
Processing over 100,000 artworks required extracting text, translating content, and generating metadata — tasks that were time-consuming and labor-intensive when done manually.
The Solution
By leveraging Eden AI, Pixel Perfect was able to integrate various AI tools to optimize the handling of their extensive print collection. Eden AI's intuitive user interface allowed the team to test and select the best AI providers for each task — whether it was text extraction, translation, or subject analysis — without needing any coding knowledge.
This approach not only saved time but also enhanced the quality and accuracy of the metadata generated for each artwork.
The Results
As a result of this integration, Spotprent Shop has drastically reduced the time it takes to process each artwork's metadata. What once took approximately 5 minutes per print is now completed in just 1-2 minutes, thanks to the automation provided by Eden AI.
The time savings, coupled with the cost-effectiveness of the AI solutions, have enabled Pixel Perfect to improve the overall efficiency of their operations, helping them serve their mission more effectively.

We use multiple AI components in our workflow, and it quickly became clear that no single provider delivers the best results across all AI tools. With Eden AI, we can analyze which provider offers the best output for each AI task without needing to implement separate API integrations.
